Minutos musicales: PRINCE, de BATMAN a pingüino emperador

Hace una semana, Prince Rogers Nelson (que actualmente se hace llamar por su verdadero nombre pero que a lo largo de su carrera ha sido conocido como Prince, El Artista Antes Conocido como Prince o simplemente El Artista) ganó su primer Globo de Oro con su primera nominación gracias a una de las canciones compuestas para la banda sonora de Happy Feet (Rompiendo el Hielo), un largometraje de animación que cuenta con las "voces comiqueras" de Elijah Wood (Sin City), Brittany Murphy (Sin City), Hugh Jackman (Lobezno) y Nicole Kidman (la Dra. Chase Meridian de Batman Forever).

Desafortunadamente para él, no pudo agradecer públicamente en la ceremonia el premio recibido porque el cantante llegó tarde a la apertura del sobre por culpa del tráfico.

Hace ya unos cuantos años, Prince conseguía otro gran éxito (aunque no a nivel de premios sí a nivel de ventas) con otra canción escrita para otra banda sonora de otra película a la que también le fue más que bien en taquilla y que haría explotar el fenómeno de merchandising que el mundo conocería como "Batmanía". Por cierto, una "leyenda urbana" afirma que el artista hace una breve aparición en este Batman de Tim Burton. Yo, después de varios visionados, aún no he sido capaz de localizarle.
